Very early, newly in Bari Italy delivered, Mercedes 220SE / b Coupe. Around 2 years ago purchased in mainly original but patinated and matt retained paint. Initially offered in the original condition, but recently decided to renew the paintwork with high quality on bare metal body parts. Original condition of chassis and undercarriage, accident free.
Beautiful first, genuine leather interior (only the driver’s seat was partially repaired), top dashboard and a-style wood elements restored, roof lining replaced. Front and rear bumpers along with the headlamp covers re-chromed, all other chrome parts remained in original condition with minimal charming patina.
Technically very well maintained. Engine, gearbox extended, newly sealed, cylinder head overhauled, front and rear axle disassembled and provided with new rubbers, barriers, bearings and shock absorbers. Fuel, cooling and braking system completely overhauled, all worn-off parts replaced. Boot and spare wheel well are rustproof and not repainted, motor space due to surface rust (caused by an exploded battery) completely sandblasted and provided with an epoxy primer and newly sprayed. All executed work is fully (photo) documented.
A Coupe with a beautiful unrestored body, great fits and closures, technically and visually in near perfect condition.
