A stunning Peugeot 504 Pininfarina Coupé 2.0 Injection Automatique with an original mileage of only 68.745 kilometers. Originally delivered in Paris by Concessionnaire Peugeot Société A.J.K to Monsieur Francois Omnium residing at 27 Rue Marbeur. Monsieur Omnium primarily used the coupe for trips between his home in Paris and his vacation residence in Antibes. After his passing and many years of being stored in a garage on the Côte D’Azur, it was publicly auctioned on November 4, 1995, by auctioneer Philippe Conseil in Antibes with 36.103 kilometers. It was sold to Monsieur Stagnaro, a dealer in used automobiles. On December 4, 1996, the car was sold to a Dutch enthusiast with a blocked engine. Only in December 2006, 10 years later, after a complete engine overhaul by a Dutch Peugeot 504 Coupe / Cabriolet specialist in Eindhoven, it was approved by the RDW (Dutch Vehicle Authority) and registered. Since May 2017, it has been registered in the name of the son of the first Dutch owner, from whom we purchased the coupe in 2022.
The paintwork and body had acquired typical city usage marks from Paris. Each body part had a dent or scratch, with the notable exception that the bumpers had remained free from damage. Worth mentioning is that the 504 was in an absolutely rust-free condition and still had its original paint when we purchased it in 2022. After creating a detailed photo report showing the paint and body damage, we carefully disassembled all attachment parts and renewed the paintwork to a high standard. The result is a perfect and sleek, non-restored coupe, with the engine compartment, inside doors, and door frames still entirely original. The car had clearly been fully anti-rust treated from new, and the underside and chassis are in exceptional condition. The velour interior, with door sills carpets and rear side panels still partly covered in factory plastic, shows hardly any signs of use or damage.
The complete history is verifiable, with the folder containing the car’s accompanying booklets, including the partially stamped maintenance book and the warranty certificate, as well as both Certificat de Cession d ‘un Véhicule, various maintenance invoices, inspection certificates, and older photos.
