A Volvo 240 GL 2.3 in excellent, original condition. Newly delivered to the first owner by Volvo Vermant in Mechelen (B) in January 1988. Stored under blankets by a collector since the late 1990s. During this period, maintained by the owner himself. Engine oil was changed regularly and the timing belt replaced several times to keep the Volvo reliable. The Belgian registration certificate is still in the name of the first owner.
Almost perfect paintwork without significant signs of wear, except for the lower part of the right rear fender and rear door in the factory paint. The interior also presents itself in beautiful condition, stainless roof lining and dashboard, only a few small spots on the driver’s seat are noticeable. Technically just extensively maintained, brake calipers all around completely overhauled, brake hoses, master cylinder, rear shock absorbers replaced, all fluids changed, new Vredestein Classic tires fitted. From new on and repeatably protected against rust by a Tectyl treatment, scratch-free. GL version with power steering and tinted glass all around.
