Purchased as a genuine barn find, this Volkswagen Scirocco 1.6 S from first, Belgian owner with an original mileage of only 19,744 Km. Barn stored since the end of 1998, seen daylight once in the mid-2000s due to participation in an old-timer exhibition. Spent the last few years on top of a incorporable lift, completely in first paint at the time I found it. Optically fully honored in his former glory, largely still in the first paint. Spot repair carried out on the driver’s door due to a parking dent, bumper cover under the license plate newly painted due to a small damage, both front screens repaired and partly repainted, rear bumper because of a dent newly chromed.. Beautiful original interior, with the minimalist rubber floor covering, stainless headlining, undamaged dashboard and door panels. Original windshield including sticker with the entry instructions, unused spare wheel. Technically fully maintained, brake system overhauled, exhaust (NOS), shock absorbers, tires, timing belt and water pump replaced. The present original sales invoice from ETN. Alois Verellen in Geel (B) shows a price new from Bfr 224.000 at the time. Instruction booklet, maintenance book in which the 20.000 km maintenance done on 15 May 1996 is stamped last, the last inspection certificate issued on 25 May 1998 are present.
