"An exceptionally original, untouched BMW 2.8 ""Langer Radstand"" from first owner, a U.S. Army Air Force pilot stationed in France, with a guaranteed mileage of only 63.876. Great, complete documented history, with all books, invoice and maintenance invoices from new.
Extraordinary state of body, mostly factory paint, spotless velvet interior always protected by sheets. An invoice from 1976 shows that the paintwork of the roof, trunk and both rear screens was renewed. The clearcoat of these parts exhibited crazing which is why together with the parking damage at the right rear wheel we have had it repaired. The rest of the paintwork, with minimal wear and the acid stain on the left screen is being kept original.
Absolutely rust and damage free, bottom, wheel arches and other in this series known weak and sensitive areas find themselves in this car in exceptional, excellent condition. The underseal was applied when new and is visible in many corners and edges, the plastic covering in the trunk, the fuel tank and spare tire cover are completely intact. Duplicate set of keys,
