BMW 520 in a typical 1970s livery Phönix Orange over a black velour interior from the first modified year 1977. Delivered new to the first owner by BMW dealer Klaus Faulbach from Göllheim, Germany. Bought in 1999 by the second owner from exactly this dealer, to then deregister the sedan in the year 2000 and no longer use it. The odometer had given up the ghost after this long period of standing still and was replaced by an original new one just before we acquired the car. Off course the original odometer, salad and never opened, is still available. Technically recently extensively maintained. The double carburetors where overhauled, fuel tank cleaned and coated, all fluids replaced, braking system rebuild, new Michelin Classic tires fitted.
The completely original factory paintwork has lost nothing of its shine, shows hardly any traces of use and was only improved in a few smaller spots with a paint pen. Chassis and undercarriage were cleaned by us and preserved with a clear wax layer. The result is simply stunning, as you can see in our extensive photo report. The condition of the entire interior is also unique. The black velour shows absolutely no signs of wear, front seats were protected by seat covers. Parcel shelf, dashboard, carpets, and also the door panels are in immaculate condition.
