An exceptionally well-preserved BMW Z3 2.8 Roadster with an original and fully documented mileage of just 15,647 kilometres. Supplied new on 2 April 1998 by BMW Niederlassung Saarbrücken to Mr Pattanayak, born in February 1938, from Kleinblittersdorf in Germany’s Saarland region.

We recently acquired this BMW from the collection of an enthusiast in Aachen. He purchased the Roadster in February 2015 with a recorded mileage of just 14,113 kilometres and covered barely 1,500 kilometres over a period of more than eleven years. Despite its exceptionally limited use, the car continued to receive regular servicing and periodic inspections.

From new, this BMW was specified with an exceptionally comprehensive factory equipment package. The impressive specification clearly demonstrates that the original owner made very few compromises when configuring his Z3.

We have chosen to equip the car with a staggered set of original BMW Styling 32 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with new Bridgestone tyres. The original 16-inch alloy wheels supplied as part of the Chrome Line Exterior package are, of course, included with the car.

The body remains entirely in its original factory paint and presents in immaculate condition, as does the interior. The dashboard, M leather steering wheel, seats, and carpets all display a level of preservation entirely consistent with the exceptionally low mileage. The combination of Cosmosschwarz Metallic with the Black/Tanin Red Oregon leather interior is particularly elegant. The chassis, underbody and all mechanical components are equally impressive, showing virtually no signs of corrosion. Original factory stickers, component labels, inspection markings, and production markings remain clearly visible throughout. The extensive collection of detailed photographs on our website speaks for itself.

The original document wallet, complete with all manuals, a copy of the original Fahrzeugbrief and, to the best of our knowledge, every TÜV inspection report accompanies the car. Based on this documentation, the mileage history below has been compiled, providing a clear and fully documented overview of the car’s history.
