Accessories and comments
An exceptionally well-preserved Mercedes-Benz 190E with a mileage of just 66,140 km, finished in the elegant and rarely ordered color 249 Malachite Green metallic.
On October 21, 1992, the car was registered by Mercedes-Benz AG Niederlassung Duisburg as a “Vorführfahrzeug” (demonstration vehicle). On December 15, 1992, it was delivered to its first private owner, Mrs. Visser (born 1930). Recently acquired by us from a collector in Oberhausen, who owned the car since April 30, 2015, and had it consistently maintained by Mercedes-Benz dealer Köster in Oberhausen. The car comes with an extensive documentation file, including maintenance invoices, TÜV reports, and a stamped service booklet. Based on the available documentation, it can be established that the car has been exclusively maintained by official Mercedes-Benz dealers throughout its life.
Factory equipped with, among others with the following options:
240 – Outside temperature indicator
249 – Automatically dimming rear-view mirror
331 – Radio preparation
412 – Electric sliding/tilting sunroof
420 – Automatic transmission
466 – Central locking
470 – ABS braking system
508 – Right-hand exterior mirror
524 – Paint preservation
570 – Front armrest
591 – Heat-insulating glass all around
620 – Emission control / catalytic converter
750 – Becker radio / cassette Europa 2000
876 – Interior lighting with delay
The last owner fitted the car with original Mercedes-Benz alloy wheels of the so-called “Kanaldeckelfelgen” (15-hole design).
The car is still largely in its original factory paint. The only exception is the upper section of the left front door. During a service at a Mercedes-Benz dealer, a scratch occurred in this area. This was documented with photographs and confirmed in writing. The affected section was subsequently repainted. During a major service at Mercedes-Benz dealer Köster in Oberhausen, the underbody and bodywork were also preserved.
The interior is in a particularly well-preserved, original and undamaged condition. The wood trim is in good condition, with the exception of a slight discoloration on the ashtray panel, likely caused by a previously applied “no smoking” sticker. The door panels are in a well-preserved and original condition. The trim material of the panels, both on the upper sections and the central areas, shows no signs of shrinkage or deformation, as commonly seen on this model, where the material can loosen, form bubbles or visibly lift.
An original and well-documented example in an exceptional color combination with a low mileage of just 66,140 km.
