Magnificent Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster presented in an elegant and rare colour combination of Astral Silver Metallic with a Dattel leather interior. Originally delivered new by Daimler-Benz authorised dealer Auto-Magg GmbH & Co. to Mr. Baigar, born in 1918 and residing in Wertingen. In the ownership of its second owner since June 1988. Off the road for the past ten years and extensively maintained by us from a technical standpoint. Wear components such as shock absorbers, suspension rubbers and brake hoses have been replaced, and the car has been fitted with new Michelin tyres.
From new, the vehicle was visibly protected against corrosion by means of a Tectyl treatment. Original paintwork with only a few minor blemishes, a beautifully preserved genuine leather interior, and an undamaged convertible top with clear plastic windows.
