A one-of-a-kind, original Renault R19 1.8 16V in a unique and irreplaceable condition with only 18,146 kilometers. Originally delivered in Detmold, Germany, to Mrs. Bench, born in 1929. After her passing, it became part of the private collection of two Renault dealers. Completely in factory paint with perfect gloss and hardly any signs of use—only a trace of battery acid on the right front fender is noteworthy. Like new, perfectly maintained, and with a pristine interior.
It lacks the optional alloy wheels but, in my humble opinion, looks much sportier with the steel wheels, which we’ve fitted with brand-new Michelins. Rust-free body and chassis, damage-free.
The French answer to the German Golf GTI, which we rarely encounter in such condition. I’m certain I’ll never come across another R19 comparable to this one.
