A Cadillac? Probably not expected by many in our range, partly by the sensational, original condition, certainly a wonderful addition to our collection.
This Coupe de Ville was delivered new in California on March 17, 1970 by Rocket Auto Sales in Grass Valley to Martin Durkin, living in the same place. Visibly treated with love and respect by Mr. Durkin, regularly maintained as witnessed by the handwritten notions. Complete binder with all to the car belonging booklets, the on various papers handwritten maintenance notes, the warranty certificate and the “Protect-O-Plate” are present.
Without exception in the factory paint, almost immaculate interior with undamaged dashboard and wood applications, perfect chrome parts with dent free bumpers. Also worth mentioning is the astonishing condition of the steering wheel with wood inlay. The completely original, very thin paintwork shows hardly any signs of use, only minimal fading and “blistering” can be noticed, but certainly does not affect the originality image, on the contrary.
Engine compartment still with all stickers and identification plates, inner fenders still perfect in the original high-gloss black and as well as all bolts, screws, clamps and the technical components free of oxidation. The original rubber floor mat, jack and the unused spare wheel are bound in the trunk, the inside of the trunk lid still has the “jacking instructions” sticker. Imported about 10 years ago by a renowned German US car specialist. Technically perfectly functioning, just approved by the German TÃœV.
Fantastic color schedule, excellent condition, documented history, low mileage. Unique and irreplaceable.
