A very elegant appearance, with its “Heckflosse” in typical 60’s style Mercedes 220SE Limousine. Rare original example, on 28-12-1964 in Marseille, France newly delivered by Mercedes dealer Europe-Auto to the first owner. Visibly benefited from the good climate, absolutely stainless bodywork. Technically completely overhauled, front and rear axle are provided with new rubbers and shock absorbers, new correct Michelin tires mounted, brake system, starter motor, dynamo reconditioned, water hoses, clutch, brake assistant renewed, cooling- and fuel system cleaned. Floor panles and chassis professionally cleaned and preserved with a transparent coating.
For the experts, our detailed pictures say it all, all corners and sides are well displayed. The usually with moisture corroded trunk floor by this example in sublime condition.
Superb original “Nadelstreifen” interior, immaculate and largely in factory paint. In the past, we discovered that the following parts were provided with new paint: roof, trunk lid, right rear panel and the lower of both left side doors.
A fabulous driving limousine in beautiful, original condition with only minimal patina.
