Again an early Mercedes W123 as a 230 in a beautiful color combination in our sales collection. Newly delivered by the then official dealer IMA-Charleroi (B) to Monsieur Semerano, a former miner from Fontaine L’Eveque in Wallonia-Belgium and in his possession until mid-2018. Recently purchased by us from the 2nd. owner, a former colleague of Mr. Semerano who, after purchase, had an extensive service carried out at the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Gilly-Charleroi for an amount of more than € 3.600, –. The present, original purchase invoice of November 8, 1978 shows a new price of Bfr. 425.000, –. All booklets are present as well as a few maintenance invoices, inspection certificates and the car pass.
Withstood the test of time perfectly, partly due to the anti-rust treatment from new on, but certainly also due to the loving treatment of both the first and second owner. A rust-free and accident-free example, with the exception of both right doors, the right front fender and a corner of the boot lid in the factory paint. The interior can be called immaculate, the period pioneer radio/cassette adorns the flawless, undamaged dashboard. Optionally equipped with power steering, right-hand exterior mirror, tinted glass all around and headlights wipers. Just 4 new, correct Michelin’s mounted.
A fantastic, unrestored W123, perfectly driving, with known and demonstrable history.
