Sensational Mercedes 450 Sport Leicht in brilliant color combination with an original mileage of only 52.670 Kilometers. Newly delivered on 16-02-1973 to Stephanie W.Guest by the then New York Mercedes Dealer Rallye Motor Incorporation. John Buontempo from Warwick, Rhode Island was the second and last American owner before the Roadster 2009 was exported to the Netherlands with a mileage of 44.224 Kilometers.
Paintwork without significant damage, scratch and dent free. Left side and boot lid have been newly respainted for cosmetic reasons, present Hard-top and all other parts in the factory paint. Superb, in perfect and rust-free condition bottom, wheel arches, sills and chassis, partly in the factory wax and provided with many factory marks and stickers.
Beautiful Bambus MB-Tex interior, perfect carpets and dashboard. First, dark brown convertible top with clear and original windows. Optional with air conditioning, electric windows, heat-resistant glass all around, automatic transmission and Becker Europe radio with Hirschmann antenna provided.
The complete map with booklets, the partially stamped maintenance book, some maintenance invoices and valuation reports, the two original Fahrzeugdaten-Karte document the history. Technically recently, well maintained, provided with new Michelin XWX 205/70VR14 tires, “Matching Numbers”.
A perfectly maintained Roadster who, despite being 45 years old, still exudes “Jahreswagen” Character.
