From the first Italian owner, one of only 840 produced examples assembled at General Motors Biel, Switzerland, Opel Kapitän A 2.6. Newly delivered by the Werhof Garage in Solothurn (CH) to Seniore Giovanni Russitto living in Bettlach (CH) on 13 Febr. 1965. Original Opel Suisse case with instruction booklets and the maintenance book, spare keys, a few Insurance documents present. From the documents provided, it was not the only limousine that Seniore Russitto had in its possession, a 66 Mercedes Mercedes 250S is also listed on the same insurance policy. In 1978 the Kapitän moved together with Seniore Russitto to Militello in Val Di Catania, Sicily (I), last stamp in the original Italian Libretto dating from 2014.First paint except for the bumper cover plate and both rockers . Beautiful original interior with cool headlining, undamaged dashboard with clear instruments. Rubber flooring in the front replaced by carpets. Beautiful bodywork and chassis with all visible welding points, cleaned by ice blasting and sealed by a clear coating.
Beautiful color combination that one can no longer imagine today. Unique “Luxus” Opel with a low production number, almost completely in the first paint and from first owner.
