This early 404 was imported by us a few years ago from southern France (Cagnes Sur Mer), sold to a German collector and recently traded for a 404 Coupe. At the time from the first owner, and completely in first paint. The original but matt and highly patinated paintwork, is now repainted by us. Photo 1 till 34 shows the car as it is now, rest of the photos show the original condition with the matt paintwork and witness the incredible sound condition of the car. The bodywork was completely sanded, untouched original, never welded body and chassis, rust free bottom without body schutz or underseal. Original, not renewed paintwork of the A, B and C pillars and the insides of the doors.
Beautiful, untouched interior without the common discoloration. Perfect technique which is partly revised, brakes overhauled, all fluids replaced, clutch recently renewed. Unique original, unrestored car in a rare and harder to get top condition. Original number plates from the first French owner are present.
