Unique Opel GT-Junior 1900S newly delivered in the Netherlands by Opel Dealer P.A. van der Kooij in Vlaardingen with registration number 62-AJ-73. Completely in the factory paint, perfect and untouched bodywork, immaculate interior. Sold by us to an Opel collector a few years ago, because of his focus on only Opel Kadett B models back in our sales collection.
The undercarriage and chassis are, as our extensive photo report shows, in an almost unmatchable, original condition. A possible search for a comparable copy will probably not yield any results. Especially considering that the GT/J was only produced for the European market and there are therefore no rust-free US examples. Perfectly withstood the test of time, not only due to the careful handling of the first owner, but also due to the anti-rust treatment applied from new. To provide transparency, we had the underside of the GT professionally cleaned before sale to the last owner and preserved with a clear coating.
The sticker of the “Swedish” ML station of A. v.d Horst from Vlaardingen still proudly adorns the rear window, the advertising sticker of the Opel Dealer van der Kooij adorns the rear panel. Maintenance booklet with completed guarantee-certificate and some stamps present in the early years.
